The hydraulic cylinder array of VAPO also includes cylinders that combine oil and gas. These cylinders are suitable for a variety of applications, and especially suitable for heave compensation, simulators or mufflers.
The cylinders function with nitrogen on one … while the other .. function on oil. Optional VAPO lets both .. work with oil, by creating a third … with nitrogen. The nitrogen can pre-tense the hydraulic cylinder to compensate extra ballast.
